We put trust on the record.
An about page is a set of claims. Ours is written the way we think all claims should be: as an oath — numbered, sourced, and signed.
Somewhere in the last decade, trust became a revenue function. Buyers stopped taking "we're secure" on faith — they read the SOC 2 before the pricing page, and every deal now carries a security review inside it. Most companies handle this the way they handle any unplanned tax: reluctantly, manually, and too late.
We started oathly.ai because we believe that's exactly backwards. The companies that treat trust as a selling motion — self-serve proof for the many, fast governed answers for the few — don't just survive security reviews. They win deals because of them.
What follows is not a mission statement. It's the oath we operate by — and the standard you should hold our product to.
Trust is a revenue function.
Security reviews decide deals, so they belong on the revenue team's clock — with owners, due dates, and a place on the deal record. We build for the people who carry the number and the people who keep it safe, and we refuse to make them enemies.
Nothing ships unsourced.
Every answer our AI drafts cites the approved document it came from. No provenance, no send. This is the line we will not trade for speed, demos, or benchmarks — because an answer you can't stand behind is not an answer, it's a liability with your name on it.
The best review is the one that never arrives.
We'd rather your buyers clear security on their own than watch you answer the same two hundred questions faster. Self-serve first; automation for what remains. We measure ourselves in trust hours you never spend.
Security stays in control.
Speed that bypasses governance isn't speed, it's borrowing. Content health, drift detection, expiry and access rules aren't enterprise upsells — they're the reason the fast motion is safe to run, so they're in the product's foundation.
Everything on the record.
Who saw what, under which grant, answered from which source, tied to which deal. The same standard binds us: our own security posture belongs on our own Trust Center, running on our own product — never in a PDF we email on request.
